There are two types of inputs: Overall campaign inputs and Per-POD inputs. At each POD, there are four stations - "Greeting/Entry", "Triage", "Medical Evaluation", and "Drug Dispensing". The layout of the stations is shown on the web page.
The overall campaign inputs consist of quantities such as the size of the target population and the duration of the campaign, whereas the per POD inputs consist of average service time at each station, the number of core staff, and the number of support staff at each station.
There are two ways of ensuring that the queues at any station remain small. Either a maximum average queue length or the maximum average wait time can be given as input.
The number of active core staff at each station can be entered in two different ways. These numbers can either be computed as the minimum number of staff required at each station to ensure that the maximum average queue length or the maximum average wait time given as input is not exceeded, or these numbers can be independently entered.
Once all inputs are entered, a simulation can be performed.
